The Local Cafe in Granbury

Cute whimsy place, picked it by the reviews. But was NOT impressed. The patio smelled like rotten garbage, the gent in the trailer had dirty clothes that looked like hadnt been washed in a week. After 25 minute wait I recieved over cooked grease soaked fries and a salad with burnt crouton, nasty pecans, and brown lettuce. I hope this was only a fluke, but not impressed!

Good food, prices reasonable, although when we go again and I get a burger I will ask for it to be cooked well done, it was a tad to rare for me. Loved eating outside with a fire going. Definitely will visit again 😊

My go to and favorite place in town! Relaxing, easy going, a bunch of familiar faces, dog and kid friendly AND they serve the best burger in town! Did you know they have a dog park, garden, toys for kids and dogs, fire pits and much, much more? Can’t wait for the weekend to go to The Local!

Fun and unique place for a quick bit. I got grilled cheese with bacon and my wife got grilled pimiento cheese sandwich and they were both delicious. All outdoor seating but great atmosphere if the weather is good. BYOB.

ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Foods excellent and the ladies who own/operate are the nicest woman you'll ever meet. Its like they stole a little piece of Austin, TX and brought it back to Granbury! Really cool and funky place great for the whole family

My favorite place in town! Love the atmosphere, owners, service and FOOD! Best burger in town and a ton of other great options. Unique, relaxing atmosphere and great, live music. Plus, they are dog friendly AND have a great, big dog park.

Great food and great atmosphere. It’s like someone took a section of lower Congress Avenue and moved it from Austin to Granbury. It’s BYOB so bring your favorite beverage.

Incredibly dog friendly, in fact I think they'd be disappointed if you didn't bring yours. The owners met us at the gate and loved on our pups, seated us by the live music and brought us menus. Plenty of options to pick from. They also have a field with toys to run your dog before you eat. BYOB and they have a community fridge so you can keep things cold while you sit back.

The local has some of the best food in town. The atmosphere is amazing as well. & the owners are pretty awesome people!

This place is so great! My wife and I came here on our anniversary. It was chilly outside but they had plenty of outdoor heaters. The decor was cool. And the atmosphere was great with the live acoustic coffee shop style music. Best of all, the food was amazing. Nicest staff anywhere.

What a fun and relaxed place to unwind after a busy week. Did I mention the excellent food? The live music just adds to the whole experience. Super friendly staff.

Have their own garden!! BYOB. THEY RECYCLE. Cool people. Dog-friendly!! Good and simple food.

It looks like someone just parked a trailer beside the road, and started collecting junk. But the food is really, really good. And the atmosphere is pretty cool once you start to look at it. I would have never stopped by but we had a work function there and I'm glad we did. Definitely worth the stop.

Such a fun place!! The kids have space to have fun while the adults listen to music and enjoy each other's company. The food is great! It honestly feels like you're hanging out in the back yard at your best friend's house. I live 20 minutes away closer to Fort Worth, but I can't wait to go back. I'd take The Local Cafe over 7th Street any day.

Eclectic fun place with very good, almost great burgers. They could be exceptional if prepared just a bit diffently. They use high quality fresh ground grass-fed beef, but did not season or cook the patties on a grill hot enough to brown/char them. See pic. Likewise, the Hawaiian and jalapeño buns were fantastic but should have been toasted on the grill. The fries were not double-fried so they were limp and oily. The Local is still one of the best burger places around and could be great if they just prepared the food a bit differently. Clean bathroom.

Creepy atmosphere and food was way over priced for lack of flavor and quality. I could of made better at home for cheaper.

This was our first time to experience The Local Cafe! The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was great! Food quality ensured we'd be back again! It was great!!

.My sister and I had hamburgers and it was the best burger I've had since leaving my home in Alaska many years ago. The only thing missing was the pickles on the burger. Fries are home cut shoestring, excellent. The place is rustic with lots to look at, we sat in the outside dining.

The wait was long. The food was greasy and simple. The atmosphere was interesting but very overcrowded. There was like music but it wasn't that good. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Excellent food and service. Gives you the feeling of eating on a friend's back patio. Husband got the burger with sourdough bun, claimed it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. I had the Reuben. Oh My! I've had a lot of Reuben sandwiches, this was, without a doubt, one of the absolutely best I've had. The rye bread was the highlight! Lots of roast beef and toasted rye! Both of us had the skinny home made fries. MmmMm then add live music

We brought our two kiddos and our lab with us for lunch! It was great food in a wonderful setting. Loved it! One of my favorite places.
